Drinking a green smoothie does not have to be a trying ordeal. Spinach is a mild green that takes on the taste of the fruit in the recipe. This version uses a banana and a pear. Add this to my Recipe Box.
Instructions

Press the spinach into the bottom of the blender. Breaking the leaves is not a problem as they will be blended into the smoothie.
2Smash the banana and place it on top of the spinach.
3Cut the pear and take out the seeds. Add the frozen berries and a pinch of Splenda.
4Add at least 2 cups of water. The water level should reach the top of the fruit.
5Blend for 2 to 3 minutes.
