Smoothies are a convenient way to get a lot of vitamins and other nutrients, especially when you're busy. By adding a few ingredients to your favorite smoothie recipes, you can create an energy smoothie to give you a midday boost. Add this to my Recipe Box.

Decide whether you want to use regular milk or a milk substitute such as rice, almond or soy milk. Almond milk is a great choice for an energy smoothie because of the protein content.
2Pour one cup of the milk of your choice into a blender.
3Put one cup of high-fiber fruit such as apples or pears into the blender.
4Add one scoop of bee pollen, a natural supplement which can increase energy levels.
5Blend all the ingredients until thoroughly combined.
